Praxis Publishing House, Ltd.

Privacy Statement

Introduction

Praxis is a small Las Vegas, Nevada based self-publishing house that values its customers and their personal information as much as it does itself.

What and how information is stored; and what is NOT!

Praxis knowingly stores, preserves and uses individual sales data from every purchasing client. On a monthly basis, that information will be electronically downloaded to an “off-line” storage disk. There will be no paper copies. That information will only be used for sales reference purposes, unless the customer authorizes use to the contrary—for future book sales, discounts or speaking engagement dates.

Praxis does not knowingly participate in or condone the collection or use of any type of passive data collection (when people just visit the website and might leave cookies or single-pixel GIF’s that harvest information like IP addresses or surfing behavior).

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Praxis ever sell, give, barter, trade, or allow their customer’s personal data to be used by any other company. Likewise, the company will not tolerate any retained third-party provider, hosting service or secure-socket financial remittance firm, to participate in any such similar activity.

As of this time, the only third-party purveyors to Praxis that have access to any type of personal information are: the credit card processor “Authorize.net” and the web hosting company “StartLogic.com”.

Only customers will be asked to actively agree to understanding and accepting the privacy statement. All others, website visitors, may or may not view or agree to the herein documented privacy statement. Nevertheless, it is in place for all to view.

Security

The Praxis web site has been designed to insure every possible security precaution to ensure the customer’s data integrity. Credit card authorization has been assigned to a third-party provider that uses industry standard Secured Socket Layers (SSL’s) to encrypt all pages asking for Social Security Numbers or credit card data. Each purchaser is personally responsible for making certain their browser’s URL entry-line begins with the letters “https”. The “HTTPS” indicates the customer is being transferred to the secure third-party financial transaction site.

Redress.

Should any customer or visitor find or suspect the Praxis Privacy policy statement to have been violated, that individual should immediately notify the company by emailing the condition and circumstances to: Contact@PraxisPublishingHouse.com

Should there be a readily unsolvable dispute between Praxis and any third party, Praxis is willing to enter into either mediation or mutually binding arbitration in Las Vegas, NV with any agreed upon member of the Better Business Bureau.

This Privacy Statement was reviewed, updated, and is current as of April 8, 2007
